ProServe Liquor Staff Training is a mandatory training program for all people serving or selling liquor, or providing security services in a Class A, B, D, E, Duty Free licensed premises or at a Commercial Public Resale special event.

In this course you will:

  • Learn about duty of care
  • Understand the liabilities and legislation associated with liquor service
  • Understand how alcohol affects the body
  • Describe a standard drink
  • Recognize the signs of intoxication and factors that influence drinking patterns
  • Learn how to handle situations involving minors
  • Learn how to discontinue and refuse liquor service or sale
  • Become familiar with other related responsibilities

Learn and take the exam online. Audio support is provided. Your computer/wireless device must meet these minimum system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows XP and newer, or Mac OS 10.3 and newer
  • Browser: Internet Explorer (IE) 9, Mozilla Firefox 12, Google Chrome 18 or Safari 5 and newer
  • Adobe Flash version 9 or higher to play the videos
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, free download
  • Sound card and speakers are recommended
  • Stable, high-speed Internet connection is recommended

NOTE: Some public or worksite computers limit Internet access or have security restrictions. They may run software that affects the way the online program or exam works. Ask your IT professional for help, or use a computer/wireless device without these restrictions.
