Activation Tickets

Activation tickets are electronic letter codes. The codes allow licensees to buy the ProServe program for their workers.

Each worker makes an account, signs into it and uses the ticket to put the program on their account. If renewing their certification, they use the same account as before.

Buy only the number of activation tickets needed for your staff. Use the View button to keep track of your tickets and monitor their use.

To buy your activation tickets:

• Click on the Buy button. Select the desired number of tickets by clicking on the arrows. Then, click on the Add to Cart button. The activation ticket price includes GST. There is no discount for bulk purchases.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to buy your ticket(s). Pay with Visa or MasterCard (credit or debit), or American Express. Money orders, payable to AGLC, are also accepted.
• Begin issuing tickets as soon as your payment is approved. Click on the View button to see your tickets.
• Please save all documentation required by your organization outside the current application. Ensure it is accessible to designated parties before the redemption deadline.
• You may apply for a refund for unused activation tickets. Click on the Can activation tickets be refunded? tab below for instructions.

To see your tickets...

• Click on the View button. Give the ticket code(s) and instructions for using it to your worker(s).
• Used tickets show the worker's name and ticket activation date.
• Click on the check box next to activated codes to track the ones you've given out. Keep track of your used and unused tickets.
• Your activation ticket receipt is on your Order History page. Sign in to see your
  order(s).

To use your tickets...

• Each worker who needs ProServe certification must have a personal SMART Programs account.
  • Previously certified workers can use the account they had when they were last certified.
  • Workers who have never taken any of the SMART Programs before can make accounts at smartprograms.aglc.ca.
• Give each worker a ticket code. Workers who do not have a SMART Programs account cannot use their ticket. Each worker must have a different ticket code.
• To use the ticket, workers sign into their accounts, click on Program Options and choose the program type for that ticket. Follow the on-screen instructions to use the ticket.
• Keep track of your used and unused tickets. Click on the View button to monitor the tickets you've given out.

Each worker must have a SMART Programs account and be able to sign into it to use their ticket. Previously certified staff can use the account they had when they were last certified. Workers who have never taken any of the SMART Programs before can make accounts at smartprograms.aglc.ca

If a worker still cannot use the ticket after signing in, check if...

• Someone else has already used the ticket code, or
• One or more of the letters in the code are missing or out of order

Click on the View button to see your used and unused tickets. Check the ticket code that doesn't work against the codes you purchased. The ticket will not work if it's already been used or if any of the letters in the code are missing or out of order.

Give the worker the correct letter code or issue a new ticket, as needed.

You may apply for a refund for unused activation tickets. Activated tickets and online program purchases are not eligible for the refund offer.

To apply, submit an Activation Ticket Refund Request form by May 31, 2024 and email it to activation.tickets@aglc.ca. Please review your order history, as this information is required on the form and will not be available once the new platform is launched.

Activation tickets purchased on behalf of a company, organization or third-party for its use and distribution are the responsibility of the account holder to return any reimbursements in accordance with any third-party agreement or make any activation ticket codes available for redemption before the current platform is decommissioned. AGLC’s SMART Programs cannot provide refund payments or disclose account or transaction information to third parties as per the program’s Privacy Statement and is protected by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP).
