ProServe - Online Course

Learn and take the exam online. Audio support is provided.

The minimum system requirements are:

  • Operating system: Windows XP and newer, or Mac OS 10.3 and newer
  • Mozilla Firefox 12, Google Chrome 18, Safari 5, Edge v.87, Opera v.72 and newer
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, free download

Sound card, speakers and a stable, high-speed Internet connection are recommended.

Time to complete: Licensee staff have 30 days from the date and time their program purchase is approved to get certified.

Learners using an activation ticket must be certified within 30 days of the date and time their ticket was applied to their account.

Please note: The ability to purchase ProServe activation tickets will end 30 days before the deactivation of this platform. All unused activation tickets must be redeemed prior to deactivation. These dates will be announced once confirmed by AGLC. (aglc.ca)

AGLC policy requires licensee staff to have the certificates(s) required for their position(s) within 30 days of their employment start date or before their current certification expires. Special Event workers requiring ProServe certification must be certified before the special event. See the liquor and gaming policy handbooks for more information.

Time to complete: AGLC is launching a new platform for our learning management system (LMS). All program requirements and the exam must be successfully completed in the current platform before 7 a.m. MST on September 16, 2024 to be migrated to the new platform.

Incomplete programs and expired certificates will not be migrated.

How to register: Order it through the online shopping cart system. Follow the on-screen instructions to pay for and access the program.

Cost: $26.25 (includes GST).

Pay with Visa or MasterCard (credit or debit), or American Express. Money orders, payable to AGLC, are also accepted. In-person payments can be made at any AGLC satellite office.

This program will not be added to your account until payment has been received.
